Morshed Khandaker, Ph.D.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Morshed Khandaker is the founder and CEO of ENF Filters, LLC. He is a professor of Mechanical Engineering in the School of Engineering at the University of Central Oklahoma with 15 years of expertise in biomedical technologies. He is the primary inventor 10 granted patents and two pending patents and author of 26 peer-reviewed journals, seven book chapters, and more than 200 conference presentations/posters in the area of electrospun nanofiber technology. His experience in an industrial setting specializing in biological materials and electrospun machine development is expected to open up new product development opportunities and invent a new product with a societal, health, and economic impact. His wealth of expertise in leadership has been the driving force steering ENF Filters, LLC towards successful creation of high- performance air filters. His passion for innovation, coupled with a commitment to excellence, will deliver electrospun nanofiber-based air filtration systems.

Shahram Riahinezhad

Chief Technical Manager

Mr. Shahram Riahinezhad is involving in mechanical design of nanofiber based air filtration systems. His 25 years of experience in material handling system, mechanical equipment layout and HVAC systems is helping ENF Filters to building the prototypes. He prior experience in the development of bid document and contracts, equipment procurement, and estimation will lead to building the commercial scale ENF filter product development. His supervision of mechanical equipment installation (rotary, static, structure, packages, tank, silo), piping, and technical inspection will be used for the maintenance of ENF Filter machinery.

Sadegh Nikfarjam

Co-founder and Operational Manager

Mr. Sadegh Nikfarjam is involving in the new business development and marketing of ENF air filters products. He received his B.S. in Biology- Biomedical Sciences from the University of Central Oklahoma. His expertise in Biomedical Science and profound understanding of histology, microbiology, and virology, drive innovation in the biological application of ENF cloths at ENF Filter, LLC.

Dr. Nazmul Islam

Faculty advisor

Dr. Nazmul Islam is a Professor and Associate Dean of the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). He is currently working with ENF Filter, LLC team for the NSF i-corp national grant project. Dr. Islam is leading the research and development collaboration efforts with ENF Filters, LLC for the ENF-based sensor development at the UTRGV campus. He has vast experience and lab facilities in sensor device design, fabrication, and testing, which will be used for developing the electrospun nanofiber- based sensors.

Hussein Alizereej

Co-founder and Technical Manager

Mr. Hussein Alizereej is involving in new product development manager of ENF air filters products. He received his B.S. in Engineering Physics from the University of Central Oklahoma. He was an entrepreneurial lead on the National Science Foundation I Corp regional and national programs where he discovered potential customers for nanofiber-based filtration products. He has more than two years of experience in nanofiber production technology and additive manufacturing techniques. He is an industry advisor and leader of a project in designing and developing dust loading chamber for measuring mechanical efficiency of nanofiber-based filter products.

Dr. Khalid Hossain

Industry Advisor

Dr. Khalid Hossain is CEO of JP Analytical, LLC, Ardmore, Oklahoma. He involved with ENF Filters team in prototype development and commercialization of the filtration devices resulting from NSF I-Corp prototype grant project. JP Analytical, LLC became successful commercial metrology service providers under his leadership. As PI and Co- PI, Dr. Hossain achieved research grants (DOD and DOE SBIR contracts and grants) exceeding $10M for materials and analytical toolset development. JP Analytical provides metrology services to the semiconductor and nanotechnology industry. ENF Filters is collaborating with JP Analytical, LLC for materials analysis. In addition, his company is characterizing the absorption of the chemical compound by nanofiber filter material using lab equipment and contractual service with reputed organization.
